Everything you need to know about ‘El niño con el pijama de rayas’

“El niño con el pijama de rayas” is an adapted book for teenagers , written by John Boyne, and published in 2006. It is a historical novel with some drama. The story happens during World War ll.

The story begins with Bruno, who is an 8-year-old boy. He needs to move home because his parents get a new job. The house looks very small and it is near Auschwitz, a concentration camp where the nazis are torturing Jews. On the side of this camp there is also a work camp. At first, Bruno does not like the new house because it is small, boring, and far from his friends, but he will soon meet another boy who will change his life.

The story talks about a lot of important things, like innocence and friendship. In my opinion, this book is really interesting, sentimental and inside the book you can see the injustice of the world.

I recommend this book to people who like old stories with a bit of drama. I also recommend this book to teenagers who like to read or watch movies, since this book also has a movie. I recommend you watch both so you can compare, because usually in films they skip a lot of things.
