My Hero Academia was released on the 3rd of April 2016 and it is based on My Hero Academia (Boku no hero academia) manga from Kōhei Horikoshi. The anime sub-genre is shonen and the genres are superhero, fantastic and adventure anime. This fascinating anime was created by the studio BONES and directed by Kenji Nagasaki.
The story is set in Japan, in a big city. In this city, most of the people have quirks, superpowers, but there is a little part of the population that doesn’t. The people with quirks that save people from the villains are called heroes. In this city, there is a boy called Izuku Midoriya. He wants to be a hero, but he hasn’t got any quirk. Izuku admires aAll Might, the number 1 superhero, a lot and he wants to be like him. One day, Izuku’s friend, Katsuki Bakugō, is attacked by a villain and Izuku tries to save him as much as he can. He can’t save him and All Might saves Bakugō. All might sees that Izuku is such a great person and that he can put his live in danger for saving the others. After the incident, All Might talks with Izuku and passes his quirk to him. Izuku si very happy about this and All Might trains him. Now Izuku has All Might’s quirk. Then, he wants to enter a super hero school, the UA, and he has to pass the access exam. He trains a lot and passes the access exam and enters the UA with lots of friends of the access exam. In his class, 1A, he makes a lot of new friends with different quirks. But he has to keep his secret about his quirk. Will he achieve his objective and become a hero for fighting against villains?
My Hero Academia has a very good story with lots of good characters and a great plot. The animation is very well and it’s drawn and animated by hand. I love the backstory of each character and his design based on his personality and his quirk. The quirks in this series are so different from each other and this makes the story very interesting.
I recommend this anime to people that like super heroe and anime stories. It has a very good story, very good characters, and an interesting plot… if you like super heroe, epic and dramatic stories with good characters and backstories, this anime is for you.
