‘The worlds of Coraline’ is an animated horror film by the director Henry Selick. It’s a movie that is set in the U.S.A and Canada. Coraline is the protagonist along with her friend Wiby and her ‘fake’ mother.
The story is about an 11-year-old girl that moves to another house, where she finds a little door and a key. As she is not happy with her family, she decides to open the door and enter. When she goes through the door, there is the same house and the same parents but with a little difference: they have buttons in their eyes. She thinks that this world is perfect, but everything is a trap!
This film is filmed with wax dolls, and it has differents songs that I like. It’s a movie with colors blue, grey, black… but the costumes are normal. The film doesn’t have many special effects, but it’s so cool.
I recommend this film because apart from being my favourite movie, I love the message it conveys. And it has got very good graphics too! Also, Coraline has got two versions: the normal and in 3D. I recommend watching it 100%.
